Adult Courses

If this is your first time we recommend a 1 hour Taster Session with an instructor.  This can be followed by a Beginners Course which is a great way to meet a climbing partner!  At the end of the Beginners and Belay Course you become a registered member of the Leeds Wall.

	Indoor Courses
Taster Session	First time or one off climbing experience for up to 5 people
Group Session	One off climb or a series of sessions for 6 or more people
Bouldering Induction	Induction to bouldering at the Leeds Wall to become a Boulder Only member
Beginners Climbing Course	Introduction to the basics of top rope climbing and bouldering to become a member
Belay Course	Simplified introduction for those who cannot attend the set Beginners Course; need a refresher; or would like to belay for their children
Lead Course	Learn to lead climb on indoor walls
Personal Coaching	Want to push your grade; get advice on technique, mental approach and training
Partners in Climb	Climb with an instructor on hand and meet new climbing partners
Abseil Session	Experience an indoor abseil

Events	Sponsored climb, charity abseil, hen / stag parties, corporate outing and lunch.....
Wall to Rock	Beginners first climb outdoors on top ropes
Rock Rigging	Learn to set up your own top rope systems
Trad Experience	Introduction to traditional climbing using gear placements on rock
Limestone Experience	Introduction to sport climbing on limestone
Qualifications
Climbing Wall Award	Training and assessment courses to teach climbing on indoor walls.
Single Pitch Award	Training and assessment courses to teach climbing on single pitch crags
Industrial Rope Access	IRATA courses are hosted at the Leeds Wall by Vertical Access.
First Aid Courses	Local HSE approved first aid courses run by Underwood Training Ltd

Children's Courses

If your children are making you climb the walls then bring them down to try the real thing!  On your first time we recommend a Taster Session which can be followed by the Lizard Intro Course to join the popular Lizards Club.  Make friends and continue the fun with an outdoor session.  The minimum age is 6 years old on our instructed courses

Booking Procedure

1. Please select from above the course you are interested in to view the full details.
2. Click on the Request Place where applicable to start your booking.
3. Enter details of when you would like to attend and contact information.
4. A member of our booking team will then contact you by telephone to advise you of availability and costs.
   A deposit will be required to make your booking.
5. We will send you a confirmation letter and consent forms by email.
6. 2 weeks beforehand let us know your final number attending and pay any remaining balance.
7. On the day: arrive 10 minutes before your course start time. Please remember your consent forms.
