People with basic leading skills who would like to learn to climb while placing protection on natural rock. Experience on rock may help but is not necessary.  Minimum age 18 years old.

This one day course takes you on the first steps of lead climbing in the traditionally protected style.  The course will leave you confident to go out lead climbing with your partner.  We will consider choice of route, types of gear and what makes the best gear placements.

Just yourself!  All equipment and instruction is provided.  If you would like climbing shoes please let us know your size.

10am to 4pm Saturday 30th June
10am to 4pm Sunday 28th October

If there are at least 2 of you and you would like an alternative day then please let us know.
