Can
I teach my own group?
To
teach you own group at theLEEDSwall
you need to:
Be
a holder of The Mountain Leader Training Climbing wall Award (CWA),
Single Pitch Award (SPA) or Higher qualification.
Hold
a valid first aid certificate.
Have
your own relevant insurance.
We
advise you to contact the Centre to book in external groups before
visiting and always carry the above information with you.
This
would enable you to teach at a 1:6 instructor - student ratio. We
are currently running training courses for the CWA if are a teacher who
would like to obtain this qualification. Click

Do
you offer outdoor sessions?
Over
the summer we can arrange days out visiting some local and some not so
local crags. This gives
your group (max 12) the opportunity to try out their new found climbing
and abseiling skills on rock and experience climbing in a natural and
beautiful setting.
Do
you have an outdoor activity licence?
The
Leeds Wall holds an Adventure Activities Licence (AALA Licence) and has
10 years of experience in offering climbing and abseiling activities.
Are
we entitled to any discounts?
All
our school and group prices already receive a discount of up to 25% off
our normal group prices.
What’s
the average group size?
The
Leeds Wall runs sessions ranging from small groups of 6 through to
larger groups of 25. The
average group size is 12.
Can
we cater for groups with special needs?
The
Leeds Wall has disabled parking, access and toilets. Our instructors
have years of experience working with groups of varying levels of
educational needs and physical disabilities.
